Pets for Re-homing

Smokey – Rehoming Pet

Description

As can be seen in the picture, Smokey is a very pretty black cat with piercing blue/grey eyes. He found his way into our home when my granddaughter moved to a home where pets are not allowed. We already have a female cat that was also a “gift” from this same granddaughter. She views Smokey as an intruder and does not take kindly to his presence in our home, i..e, they do not get along. Smokey wants to make friends; the female wants to make war.

Smoke is about as easy going as a cat can be. He spends the bulk of his relaxing. He gets along well with children; we have a one-year-old great-granddaughter and a dog who occasionally plays with him (Smokey). Smokey takes great pleasure in chasing infra-red-light beams and will actually wear himself out doing so. He currently sleeps in our Florida room to keep him isolated from the female cat. He does not often play with his many toys but does enjoy an occasional trip into our cat tree. Smokey is a good cat that would be allowed to remain in our home were not for a disagreeable female cat.
