Pepper is a cuddle bug. She loves attention. She really doesn’t know a stranger. People that come to see me automatically came to see her. She loves to be groomed. She loves her pet vacuum. She also does several tricks and I’m sure she would learn others. She can sit on command and reach up for her treat. She will come when you call her, especially if she hears the treat bag rattling. She tolerates dogs her size but she’s never really lived with a dog or another cat. I’m not sure how she would do with another animal. When I got her at approximately six months of age, she was in her first heat. I had to make a tough decision about her claws. I have a rare autoimmune disease and it was either remove all of her claws or send her to a shelter. The veterinarian took excellent care of her while she healed and recovered. She is adapted well to not having claws. PLEASE REMEMBER, SHE CAN NEVER GO OUTSIDE WITHOUT A LEASH OR A CRATE.
Like all cats, she likes to jump up on things, including the table and kitchen counters. Her rabies vaccine expired about a month ago. I just don’t have the strength or the energy to pick her up and take her for her vaccine. Since she does not go outside, I have not worried too much about it; she is not exposed to any other animals. She does well with children that are older. Young ones that chase her cause her too much stress, and she just hides under the bed.
She is used to wood Öko Cat clumping litter. She has never used clay litter. She also has an automatic cat watering bowl and separate automatic feeder.
