Pets for Re-homing

Link – Rehoming Pet
Description
Link is an incredibly sweet boy who is mostly deaf, and can only hear very loud noises. He is amazing with kids and loves everyone he meets. He really is the sweetest dog with people I think I’ve ever met, everyone loves him when they meet him.
He occasionally gets in fights with our other dogs (initiated by him, usually around food or bones, but sometimes with no discernible provocation that we can see) and this has increased since bringing our baby home three months ago. With having a baby in the house we just can’t risk her getting caught in the crosshairs of a dog fight once she’s more mobile. He would probably be best in an only dog home but he does love our other dogs and plays well with them when he’s not set off by something, so someone with more experience and less risk could possibly manage this with another dog, we just can’t take that risk with a baby.
Link is about 38lbs so he is a mini Aussie but on the large side. He is neutered and up to date on his rabies shot, and has no health problems apart from the hearing loss (I suspect it was from recurrent ear infections with his previous owner because he does not like his ears rubbed). He is a very lazy Aussie, I wouldn’t consider him high energy at all, but he is curious and likes treat puzzles and things like that.
