Pets for Re-homing

Harmony – Rehoming Pet

Description

Harmony was a rescue from a kill shelter. I have had her for 5 years. She has special needs as she has major anxiety and takes medication for it. She can sometimes be aggressive, especially when scared or unsure of people and surroundings. She loves belly rubs and playing with her favorite stuffed animal. She is not territorial of toys or food. She is pee-pee pad and outdoor trained to use the bathroom.

She needs to be groomed, and grooming is a problem for her. Harmony is vocal and sometimes is excessive. She has a few bumps on her, but the vet says that it is nothing to be concerned about. Harmony also suffers from allergies. She gets an allergy shot every month. Without it, she will lick and scratch to the point of self-injury. She has a healthy coat.

She loves her person and loves to be close to her person. She does not like to be left alone for long periods of time. Over all, she is a good dog, she just had a rough start with the people who owned her before me. My understanding is that she was abused pretty badly.
