Pets for Re-homing
Bonnie – Rehoming Pet
She is a tan middle-aged German Shepherd Mix, estimated about 7yoa and as sweet as can be! We rescued her from Animal Control in January. (I have a huge soft-spot for German Shepherds) We have had her for about 6 months now, she was Heartworm positive when we rescued her but we have treated her for it since and she is doing well now. Our only issue with her is that she is cat aggressive and she goes after our five cats relentlessly. I’ve tried working with her on this for months but I’m afraid she is just too dangerous to have in a cat-household. We live in a small space, and to keep the kitties and her safe she winds up spending more time in the kennel than is fair. She loves to run in a backyard but only when her humans are present, as she is a very anxious girl and will pace around and try to escape if she doesn’t have supervision. She literally only wants to be around her people. My husband and I both regret having to give her up because she really is a sweet and loving dog but she just doesn’t work in our household and she deserves the best life she can get. We are happy to donate some money towards re-homing her as well as her kennel, toys and food.
