PawTastic Rules and Regulations

RULES AND REGULATIONS….

The Humane Society of Polk County’s “Pawtastic Splash Bash” is a random drawing that will be conducted on June 13, 2021, at 3:00 pm EST.  Each ticket will be assigned a number that is associated with the applicant’s name and contact information.  Each ticket number corresponds to a tennis ball that depicts the same number.  At the date and time set forth above, all of the numbered tennis balls will be placed in the pool located at Orchid Springs Animal Hospital (615 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, FL  33884) and a dog will enter the pool and retrieve one of the tennis balls at random.  The applicant associated with the number on the first tennis ball that the dog fully exits the pool with will be the winner.  This activity will be repeated three (3) times in total so that the dog may retrieve three (3) tennis balls at random, resulting in three (3) winners; one for each of the three baskets being offered as prizes.  The prize baskets are numbered so that the first, second, and third tennis balls chosen at random correspond to a specific basket, as set forth in the names of the prize baskets.  One or more dogs may be used in selecting the tennis balls at random from the pool, however, only one dog will enter the pool at a time.  The event will be live streamed on the Humane Society of Polk County’s Facebook page, at which time the name of each winner will be announced.  The winners will be promptly contacted via the contact information provided on the online portal and notified that they have won.  Tickets for the drawing will no longer be offered after 12:00 p.m. EST on June 13, 2021.

The prizes for the Humane Society of Polk County’s Pawtastic Splash Bash are a combination of inkind contributions from donors and purchases made possible by cash donations from event sponsors.
