This beautiful Boy is Oakley. His family was deployed overseas, and unfortunately, they were not able to take him with. He is a lab hound mix. And is 3. He is the biggest goofball you will ever meet. He is floppy and funny and just the biggest love bug you will ever have the pleasure of playing with. There is never a serious moment when he’s around. He’s tall but skinny and floppy. He loves to run and is very fast. I was told he could possibly make a great hunting dove with the right training. I’m certain he could because he is very smart. He loves to chase chickens, squirrels, bunnies, lizards, armadillos, rats pretty much anything that moves He loves to chase it. He loves to play catch. He loves to play tug-of-war with rope and loves to cuddle and beg for your food. Any chance he gets. We have captain on a temporary basis, but have had no luck finding him a permanent home. Every rescue organization is completely full and we have posted him just about everywhere. We have a lot of dogs already or he would absolutely stay here. I would love to keep him. I’m already sad about him possibly leaving because I really love him, but if he has a chance at a home with less dogs and more attention than I would love for him to have that. If I find homes for the other fosters that I have I might possibly keep him because he’s that amazing. Anyone would be lucky to have him. Honestly if I can find somebody to help me train him to be my service dog i will keep him because he’s really smart and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.
