Pets for Re-homing

Dakota – Rehoming Pet

Description

Dakota is a sweet and gentle one-year-old Anatolian Shepherd looking for a temporary foster or loving new home. She’s a big baby at 96lbs, up to date in rabies, dhlpp, and bordetella vaccines. She’s not spayed, but should be once she reaches around two years old. She’s grown up around other dogs, cats, and even exotic pets, so she’s very animal friendly and curious. She especially enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play, but stays submissive if another dog gets pushy. Dakota has a kind and protective nature, with a quiet curiosity around new people. She may be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and becomes affectionate and loyal. She’s great with kids—excited and playful—but still learning to be aware of her size. Smart, loyal, and well-tempered, Dakota thrives in environments where she has space to explore and companionship to share. We recently moved and unfortunately can’t give her the space she needs at the moment. We’re hoping to find her a temporary foster or new forever home that matches her energy and sweet spirit.
