Sylvie is about a year old and she’s a mix with a pit bull, lab, and potentially some other things we’re not sure about. She’s an excitable dog with quite a bit of zoomies but also a cuddler and heavy sleeper.

She has separation anxiety and is a bit of an escape artist, which unfortunately isn’t something we’re equipped to handle at this point, and we believe she deserves a home where she’s receiving the attention she needs.

Sylvie is a vocal dog and rather than barking tends to make noises more like whinnies, babbling, and what we like to call jungle noises. She’s very friendly at dog parks and will happily run around with the other pups and play.

She is the type to bond with someone and be their companion. In our case, she is making a lot of progress on house training, however when the person she is bonded to leaves, we see that training slip. We believe that is due to separation anxiety. We’ve made some improvements with crate training as well, but it’s a work in progress.
