This handsome young male was found in the middle of Slaughterhouse Road in Polk City around 10:00 PM, and from the moment I stopped to help him, it was obvious he has been loved by someone.

He is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. Even after what must have been a frightening experience, he was gentle, trusting, and calm. As soon as I got him safely out of the road, he walked right up to me and laid down at my feet as if he knew he was finally safe.

He has excellent manners, listens to commands like “sit,” and has done wonderfully with my two dogs. He’s playful without being overbearing, affectionate without being demanding, and has shown no signs of aggression. He simply wants to be around people and other dogs.

He’s wearing a leather collar but had no identification. He also has a small wound on his right ear that appears to be healing. I was able to clean his ears without any resistance from him.
