Hi, I’m Echo! I’m about 4.5 years old, and my human adopted me when I was around 20 weeks old. I’m a rescue, and I can be a little anxious around new people and unfamiliar places, but once I feel safe, I’m incredibly sweet, loving, and playful.

At home, I just want to be wherever you are. I bond deeply with my person and love being part of whatever you’re doing. My crate is my safe space, and when I’m feeling unsure, like when meeting someone new, I’ll usually hang out there or stay close to you. Sometimes I might bark or growl to seem tough, but it’s just because I’m nervous, I would never actually hurt anyone. I warm up to people over time and have a small circle of humans I trust completely.

With other dogs, I can be a little picky. I loved the dog park when I was a puppy, but as I grew up I became more cautious with unfamiliar dogs and might bark or pull on the leash. That said, with the right introduction, I’ve made great dog friends and can become best buddies! I also really love cats and know how to be gentle and aware of my size when playing with them.

I’d be happiest in a calm home with patient owners who understand that I just need time to feel comfortable. A home with minimal visitors or a quiet place for my crate when guests come over would be perfect for me. I’m fully house trained and crate trained, and once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal companion.

I just need someone who sees my heart and gives me the chance to show how loving I can be.
