Meet Bojangles, a bright, affectionate Husky looking for a home that can give him the time, attention, and companionship he truly deserves.

Bojangles is about 50 lbs and full of personality—he’s curious, intelligent, and loves being part of the action. He knows basic obedience commands like sit, down, off, wait, leave it, and crate, and he even has a fun set of tricks under his belt (paw, other paw, up, roll over, speak, stand). He’s crate trained and does well with structure.

He’s friendly with other dogs and generally enjoys their company, though he doesn’t always pick up on social cues, which can occasionally annoy more reserved dogs. He’s tolerant of cats but may chase if they’re skittish. He’s also good with children, but because he can get excited and jump, supervision is important—especially around smaller kids.

Bojangles does have severe separation anxiety. He must be crated if left alone, as he can panic and potentially hurt himself or damage things. Because of this, he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, or with an adopter experienced in working with separation anxiety.

This decision hasn’t been easy. Due to a change in schedule, he’s now alone for most of the day, and it’s clear he’s struggling. He is truly a good boy who deserves more time, presence, and care than we’re currently able to give.
