Steven is a beautiful brown and white bully pit with a head as big as his heart. He loves butt scratches and head pats. He craves attention and love as well as cuddles. He is extremely cute, but all that cuteness does come with downsides that is causing us the reasons for needing to rehome him. I will list them all below for full transparency. I feel it is better that way rather than to lie or not tell the whole truth.

• 4 years old, fixed, up to date on shots, roughly 70 Ib
• Friendly (but barks and acts tough), good with cats and other dogs (careful with small children he is big and doesn’t know his own size still)
• Suffers from constant seasonal allergies. Runny eyes, allergic to grass and to chicken. Needs meds to sustain and be comfortable. Right now he is on a constant pill and a steroid every 3-4 days.
• Ear infection is manageable now, but easily gets triggered and can get bad again.
• Just spent a small fortune getting him manageable and on a consistent schedule. Vet recommends a lot more things like specialized food and/or injections. These are out of our budget and we cannot afford to keep him comfortable and maintained anymore.
• He lives in a cone to stop him from scratching and infecting his ears again or over licking. Recommended to keep it going until he is more trained/managed.
• Also without the cone on he will potentially destroy things, he loves boxes/packages at the moment if left within his reach and destroys is dog beds.
• He is a sweet hearts and loving, but loves to play dumb like he didn’t hear you and is very hyper active.
I work 12+ hours a day 7 days a week, fiance is pregnant and she cannot control him or walk him (he pulls/untrained), and we cannot afford to maintain him the way he needs. No family or friends are able to take in such a medical/behavioral issue animal. I am being totally upfront about all his issues in hopes someone is willing/able more than me. He is a good dog and partner, just extremely needy (attention/financially) and I am unable to provide anymore. I want him comfortable.
