Hi, my name is **Esme**, and I’m a special girl looking for my forever home! I may be deaf, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit — I’m full of love, personality, and playful energy.

I absolutely love to play and get attention. My favorite toys are balls and springs, and I can entertain myself (and you!) for hours. I’m also a big fan of games like hide-and-seek and tag — I’ll keep you smiling with my silly, fun-loving spirit.

When playtime winds down, I enjoy cuddling and being close to my person. I LOVE to be held like a baby and will even ask for “uppies” when I want to be picked up and loved on. I like affection and will happily soak up love whenever you’re giving it.

Even though I’m deaf, I’m very smart and know a few tricks already. I’m great at communicating in my own way and will let you know if I want attention, need fresh water, or if it’s time for something tasty. Speaking of tasty… fish-flavored food is my absolute favorite!

I can be vocal at times, but not constantly — just enough to tell you how I’m feeling or when I need something. I get along well with people and enjoy attention from my humans. As for other cats and dogs, I haven’t had much experience with them yet, but I’m open to careful introductions so we can see how I do.
