Pets for Re-homing

Otis – Rehoming Pet

Description

This handsome, loving guy showed up at our home 4 months ago and completely stole our hearts. After searching for his owners or an a potential new family and not finding them, we took him in — and he’s been part of our family ever since.

He’s:House trained
Indoor dog (loves being inside with his people)
Good with other dogs
Super affectionate and cuddly
Very loyal and protective
Thinks he’s a lap dog/baby

He is extremely attached to our teenage son and loves being the center of attention. He thrives on one-on-one love and bonding.

Because he’s naturally protective and gets anxious around small children (especially crying babies), we think he’d do best in a home without young kids. He would be amazing with a single person, couple, or family with older kids who can give him lots of attention and companionship.

This is NOT an easy decision for us — we love him so much — but we want him somewhere he feels completely safe and relaxed. We believe he was probably just dropped off and suffers from separation anxiety. We have taken him to the vet and he is up-to-date on all of his shots, but he has not yet been fixed. We had made the decision to hold off and wait while we were searching for his owners just to make sure he didn’t belong to somebody..

We just want the perfect, forever home for him.
